Are you closed on holidays?

We believe that holidays are meant to be spent with family. Chores & More is closed on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas day and New Year's Day. We give our staff optional work days on Black Friday and some other holidays, and reserve the right to close on that day or any other holiday.

If your cleaning falls on a holiday or closure, we will contact you prior to reschedule your service.

What are your hours of operation?

Our field hours vary from Monday through Friday, depending on our workload. Most of our technicians start between 8:30 and 9AM, but we will start as early as 7AM when requested. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. If you reach out to us outside of our office hours, we will contact you on the following business day.

What if I have to skip or reschedule a service?

We totally understand that life happens! If you need to postpone or cancel a service, simply try to let us know at least 48 hours in advance. All late cancellations are subject to our cancellation fee, as explained in our terms of service.

What are your prices?

Our pricing varies by job and is based on a number of factors, including size, condition and job specifications! In order to receive a quote, please reach out to schedule a complimentary estimate: 631-397-0177.

Are you comfortable cleaning with pets in the home?

Psh, do you even know us? We're the pet people. We love dogs and cats and even reptiles. We do not require that you put your pet away during your service, but all clients with pets are subject to our pet policy, as detailed in our terms of service.

How many cleaners will service my home?

Accepted Answer

It depends! We strongly believe that solo cleaners are more efficient and overall better at getting to know you and your home. In order to maintain consistency, you will probably be paired up with a soloist, but sometimes teams will be scheduled for larger-scale jobs and initial cleans.

What forms of pay do you accept?

Accepted Answer

In order to make things easy for everyone, we accept credit card and ACH (bank transfer) payments. We require credit cards on file in order to book with us. You don't have to worry about a bank run, and we don't have to worry about losing checks 😅. It's truly a win-win!

We offer everything you need to keep your home, office or apartment in sparkling order! The services we provide are: home cleaning, office and commercial cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, laundry-folding, light housekeeping, carpet and upholstery shampooing, window cleaning, and organizing.
