You might think we're lying when we tell you that we've been best friends since birth, but there are no exaggerations here! We are Holly and Laura, and all sorts of destiny and the will of God have gotten us to this wonderful point in our friendship: co-owners of this incredible, thriving business.
It all started when our original post-college plans didn't work out. No matter what we found ourselves doing, we were never fulfilled. But the idea of being able to help people thrive in their homes and businesses through the magic touch of a professional cleaning? SIGN US UP. Chores & More was founded in 2018 with the mission to help our friends and neighbors tackle their to-do lists, one chore at a time.
Our home base is in Lindenhurst, but we love cleaning homes and offices throughout western Suffolk and eastern Nassau counties, stretching from Merrick all the way to Patchogue. Since our inception in 2018, we've really embraced the "more" in Chores & More - offering recurring home cleanings, deep cleanings, window washing, professional organizing, laundry and housekeeping, carpet and upholstery shampooing, and more.

Heey, bestie! I'm Holly, your typical multi-passionate millennial boss-lady baddie. I love learning new things - in fact, I enrolled in beauty school when I was 28 years old and got my New York State Nail Specialty license [just for fun] all while in the beginning stages of running this business. I'm so proud of what I do in this life, which is pretty bittersweet because my original plan to be a famous writer after graduating from Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in journalism didn't quite pan out. But dang - entrepreneurship is my JAM. And how lucky am I to own two businesses that help people? ANYWAY, Laura and I also co-founded The Hustle Haven in 2025, a business education and networking collective for fellow modern entrepreneurs. When I'm not hard at work [which accounts for like 80 percent of my life because I love it so much], I am usually playing Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch, drinking mimosas at brunch with the girly-pops, planning the next weekend getaway, or creating pretty spreads in my planners and journals. My three nieces & nephew - Mia, Haley, Emma and Logan - are pieces of my heart living outside of my body. My purpose? To show you that you are amazing as you are, and that you deserve amazing things!

Laura here! Your neighborhood crazy cat lady and self-diagnosed caffeine addict. Family, friendships, and of course my fur baby Zelda are what I cherish most in this life. While I love cleaning, my other passions include all things crafting, video games, and dance fitness. I am a certified Sweat & Swagger Instructor and absolutely LOVE creating an inclusive class environment in which people can let loose and have the time of their lives! I also have a BFA in acting and dabble in stand-up comedy. I live with my boyfriend of over four years and I knew he was the one when I saw that he loves my cat just as much as I do. AND if you have not yet figured it out, I am also Holly's co-host for our newest passion project, Hustled Up!

Many of you know Ashlee because she is our field manager, & she works a lot! Though she comes off as very quiet to most, she is always closely supervising & making sure the job gets done right. She knows the ins & outs of our company, & is always willing to go the extra mile for us! She’s worked late nights and weekends to help out, & we are truly thankful for her! She is a huge asset to our entire team (and an asset to our family, especially on our weekend brunch dates)!

Payroll Administrator
Sue joined our team in July 2023 and has been a huge help from day one! She is in charge of all payroll for the company, employee timesheets and timekeeping, bookkeeping, and assisting Holly and Laura with other clerical tasks. Fun fact: she is also Laura's mom! In her free time, she loves playing on her Nintendo Switch, watching her favorite shows with Laura, and crafting - she is an extremely talented crafter and artist! She also loves spending time with her husband, Bob, and son, Michael!

Steven, who also goes by his middle name Gabe, is Holly's boyfriend of nine years & Deep Clean Specialist! He loves playing Fortnite on his computer, playing guitar, and working out! He has been an asset to the Chores & More team as a cleaner & as the voice of reason for both Holly & Laura for many years and they are so thankful for him.

Kim joined the Chores family in 2023 and her clients already love her! She loooves adventure & enjoys staying active! Whether it's being outdoors, hitting the gym or catching some sun rays, Kim is there & loving every moment of it. She comes from a big Italian family, so whenever she has a free moment, she's usually in the kitchen cooking up something delicious! She also loves a day in the city with the girls. Her bubbly personality and happy energy are contagious!

John is truly a jack of all trades! When he isn't cleaning houses, he's selling them at a real estate agent! He grew up in Massapequa and loves the outdoors. He particularly loves fishing, hiking and walking his dog. His charm and gentle personality are sure to win the likes of every client. We love having him on our team!

Jeannine joined the Chores & More team in January 2020 and she's since hit the ground running! Our clients love and cherish her (as do we), because her friendliness and attention to detail are truly unparalleled. She is married to her hubby, Don, and they both love traveling & having fun! When she's not cleaning for us, she can be found with her loving family, shopping on Amazon, or enjoying some pampering at the nail salon!

Company Mascot
Sage passed away on October 10th, 2024, & is so dearly missed. Also known as the "Company Doodle," Sage was seriously the most perfect dog. Holly took Sage home in 2015 after falling in love at first sight. Holly & Sage were inseparable - Sage joined Holly & Laura in the office every day! Everyone who met her learned so much from her unwavering happiness.
